Content creation: Instagram Reels

Throughout my incumbency at UTS Vertigo Magazine, I was responsible for numerous projects. Aside from editing the Society & Culture section of the magazine, I took charge of content production on our Instagram (@utsvertigo), our main social media platform. This involved promoting campus events, alongside Instagram Reel content creation. This provided invaluable experience in video editing for social media.

Through the team’s work, our social media platform grew by around 1k followers within the year, with the brainchild behind this growth being a project called ‘Outfits Of The Week’ created by myself and my co-editors. Every week, we went out onto campus and filmed myself interviewing UTS students on what they were wearing to university that week. This eventually became a fan favourite amongst the readership of UTS Vertigo.
